SimpleBLI

Longitudinal BLI figure builder

About SimpleBLI and file compatibility

Simple bioluminescence analysis for IVIS data

SimpleBLI is a browser-based tool for longitudinal bioluminescence imaging workflows. Import Living Image acquisition folders, preserve calibrated radiance values, crop individual animals, normalize every time point to one scale, measure regions of interest, and export figures, plots, and CSV data.

Built for clear, reproducible BLI figures

  • Compare control and treatment groups across time points.
  • Apply one shared radiance scale and color bar to every panel.
  • Plot total flux, mean radiance, or maximum radiance over time.
  • Export publication-ready 300 dpi PNG figures and analysis data.

Living Image and Aura compatibility

Does SimpleBLI replace Living Image or Aura?

No. SimpleBLI is a focused analysis and figure-assembly companion, not acquisition software. It reads quantitative Living Image folders containing ClickInfo.txt and luminescent.TIF. Native Aura/AuraX (.aurax) and Living Image analysis (.amix) project files are not opened.

Can I use ordinary image exports?

Yes. TIFF, PNG, and JPEG images can be arranged as rendered-only panels. Quantitative rescaling requires the original Living Image calibration data.

Is SimpleBLI free?

Yes. SimpleBLI’s analysis and export tools are free, with no installation required. Paid plans are only for saving larger amounts of experiment data in private cloud storage.
